A grease fire broke out in Lakeside Cafe's kitchen this evening, said Lakeside employee Derek Bailey, junior multimedia communications major.

Students and workers were evacuated from the building.

Firefighters arrived and put out the fire. Workers were allowed back inside the building after the fire was cleared.
