Georgia Southern University Police are assisting in the search for an Armstrong Atlantic State University student who has been reported missing.
Bryce Tarter, 19, was last seen Sunday morning (Jan. 31) on the AASU campus in Savannah.
According to his family, he had been in Statesboro at a party the night before.
Several people from the party remember seeing Bryce and fully cooperated with police, but all of those leads have been exhausted.
After arriving back at AASU around 5 am, Tarter drove off in his white 2000 Nissan Frontier truck with Maine license plate 9447 QD.
An Atlanta Braves “A” logo is on the back driver’s window and an Atlanta Falcons logo is on the back passenger’s window.
According to the website established by his family, http://www.bringbrycehome.com, they believe he was heading home to Guyton and has not been seen or heard from since.
In a recent phone interview special to GADaily.com, Bryce's father Blake mentioned that there were no security cameras in the AASU parking lot where Bryce is said to have left from, although security cameras from Abercorn Street are being reviewed.
Blake went on to say, "When we find the truck, we will find Bryce."
Search teams canvassed Savannah last Saturday in conjunction with air searches.
A Facebook page, http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=304542202320&ref=ts, has also been created to try and help locate Tarter.
Anyone who has any information or know the whereabouts of Bryce's truck is urged to contact Georgia Southern University Police at 912-478-5234.
*There are several variations to the Maine license plate, but the one pictured above is similar to that of the one on Bryce's truck.
